[Old] Riot
Today at P.E., the guys plus one of the girls played soccer and me and 3 girls played basketball. Those 3 girls were Rosemarie, Oana and Elena. Oana was very direct, looked at me and said “me with Rose and you with Elena”. That put me out of the game, I can’t play against Rose.
While walking to the basketball field, Elena discreetly pulled me back and said “so you with Rosemarie…”, I said “I wish…”, she said “it’s done”, went to Oana and told her that she wanted to be in the team with her. Oana looked at Rose and said “no, not possible”. Well, Elena just left, didn’t want to play anymore, she knew I wouldn’t play anyway in that case, so…
But the teacher came to us after a few minutes (he was with the guys, coaching them, they have a match tomorrow) and told us to play… And assigned Elena to mark Oana and me on Rose. Of course I didn’t do anything… Elena kept screaming at me to “get on her”… If I had the ball and Rose was in front of me I’d pass it to her, not to Elena, it was a reflex.
At one point I was behind Rose, actually trying to take the ball from her, and I touched her. I mean I was almost hugging her (happens in basketball). When I noticed what position I was in, I tell you, I have no idea how I managed to stop myself from really hugging her. But she immediately yelled at me not to touch her. I asked why. She stopped for a moment and then said “because it’d be a foul”. I said “huh?”, but she didn’t say anything else… Did you ever get the feeling of a(nother) dagger through your heart? That’s what I felt.
The next class was English and the new teacher is STUPID! We know much more than he does! We went to our former teacher after the class to ask him to take us back, but he said he can’t… So now almost all of us will bring our parents to school to talk to the teachers to change this guy, and if they won’t change him we simply won’t stay for English anymore. As always, Rose is the one who cares too much about her grades to be in such a “riot”, but I hope me and Diana (we started all of this after all) will be able to convince her to join the “team”. We were 9 when we went to our former teacher to complain and we could have been more, but a few simply said they don’t care either way and some had to write their physics homework during that break, so…
